The Government of Ontario ordered all non-essential businesses to close on December 26, 2020 as a result of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. As of December 26, 2020, ICAS' physical office is CLOSED for a minimum of four weeks.
During the closure, applications can continue to be submitted on-line. Some types of documents may be submitted electronically. Please contact ICAS by e-mail for details. If you are required to submit original documents, these must be submitted by mail or courier. ICAS has a secure dropbox for the submission of original documents. These documents will be processed when our office is permitted to re-open.
Assessment and research staff continue to prepare and issue Assessment Reports electronically.

The average processing time for the Canadian Immigration Assessment Package is approximately 30 weeks from the date on which all required documentation is received in our office. This is an approximate processing time and is not a guarantee. ICAS does not offer rush services. This information will be updated as necessary based on application volumes and COVID-19 developments.

The following are the current average processing times for each type of ICAS Assessment Report:
General Assessment Report (10-12 weeks)
Secondary School Comprehensive Assessment Report (10-12 weeks)
Postsecondary Comprehensive Assessment Report and Secondary and Postsecondary Comprehensive Assessment Report (35 weeks).
Please note that these estimates do not apply to assessments for immigration to Canada.
