ICAS has been designated by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism to provide educational credential assessments for individuals applying for immigration to Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker (FSW). ICAS has a separate application process for FSW applicants. Please click here to learn more.
Our current processing time for applicants (not including FSW applicants) is approximately 6 weeks. Actual processing time depends on the volume of applications received on a given day and the nature of the qualifications submitted for assessment. Rush services are not available at this time. In most cases, a General Assessment Report is completed and sent more quickly than any other type of Assessment Report.

ICAS' office and telephone lines are open to the public from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our office is closed to the public on Monday and Friday.
Please call or visit us during office hours. If you are having difficulty reaching us during office hours, please send us an e-mail and a representative will respond to you by e-mail or telephone as quickly as possible.
If coming to our office, please bring your original education documents plus a set of clear, complete photocopies of both sides of each document. Your original documents will be reviewed by a member of our professional staff and returned to you before you leave the office.

ICAS values your privacy. We are not able to provide information about an application or assessment to any third party without your signed, written consent. If you would like to authorize ICAS to discuss your file with someone else, please provide a signed, written letter with your application or documents. Please note that both the application form and document submission form must be signed by the applicant.
