Processing Time (ECA for Immigration to Canada)

The average processing time is 20 weeks after all required documents are received in our office.

All files are handled as quickly as is possible, in order, based on the date of receipt of complete documentation. Rush services are not available.

Processing Time (other ICAS reports)

Processing time begins when all required documentation has been received in our office. These are an estimate only and rush services are not available.

The following are the current average processing times for each type of ICAS Assessment Report:

General Assessment Report (8-10 weeks)

Secondary School Comprehensive Assessment Report (8-10 weeks)

Postsecondary Comprehensive Assessment Report and Secondary and Postsecondary Comprehensive Assessment Report (25 weeks).

Please note that these estimates do not apply to assessments for immigration to Canada.

Immigration to Canada

If you are applying for immigration to Canada, ICAS has a separate application process for immigration applicants who require an ECA.
