If you are applying to a college in Ontario through Ontario College Application Service (OCAS) you will have the opportunity to submit your international educational documents for assessment.
This assessment is prepared by ICAS and transmitted electronically by OCAS to the colleges to which you have applied. The assessment includes a summary of the level of education completed, comprehensive information about courses taken at the secondary school level and some information about specific courses at the postsecondary level.
OCAS applicants can also request a General Assessment Report based on the information sent electronically to colleges by OCAS. Please contact the Ontario College Application Service to request your General Assessment Report.
Some colleges in Ontario require a more comprehensive assessment of your postsecondary studies than is currently available through the OCAS international transcript evaluation process. If you are applying to a program that requires a Comprehensive or Course-by-Course assessment, please complete the ICAS application form and submit the required documents and fees.
Applicants to colleges in Ontario, who have paid the international transcript fee, are entitled to a $30.00 discount on any of ICAS’ services. To request this discount, you must provide a valid OCAS number on your application and payment form.
